It's time to take charge of your life!
Are you tired of weight cycling or yo-yo dieting?

Are you tired tired of losing those last 5 pounds, only to gain them back as soon as you tire of the latest thing you have been trying?

The first step is to acknowledge there is a problem.....
Want to know how I overcame my ice cream addiction?
First I had to admit there was a problem. Eating 3/4 of a pint of ice cream daily was just....well....something I did to relieve stress...but it wasn't doing anything for my overall health. At a certain point I had to admit that it was not healthy, not normal, and not serving me.
For many, too many, people the problem is that they are too stressed to even make a change. Or they do well with their plan until they get stressed and then all hell breaks loose; they start eating a bunch of junk food and/or stop going to the gym (or meditating, etc, whatever it is).
For other people the problem is that they just are lazy....sorry, but it's true. And that's okay, no judgement on the problem...that won't help with anything....identify the problem, admit it, and find a solution!
For others it's overwhelm. Some think that to get it right they have to do it all and now. Then they end up doing nothing!
Figure out what's stopping you from doing what you KNOW you want to do right now!
Step 2 is to figure out what the heck you're going to do about it.
Once you have acknowledged there is a problem, then you have to figure out what you're going to do about it.
Of course, action steps will vary based on the problem.

Step 3 is to just DO IT!
But keep in mind the following RULES:

Cut yourself some slack!
If you were perfect you probably wouldn't be reading this.
No one is really.
So, do what you need to do but recognize that the screw-ups are an important part of the journey. Every time you go off your diet or neglect your workout or "forget" to meditate you are learning!
Many people use the excuse that they went off their diet, or stopped working out for a few months, or whatever it is, to just NOT go back on their plan. That is not an EXCUSE!
Listen, you have set a goal or made a plan for doing something that you WANT to do. You want to feel better, look better, or be better. Forgiving yourself when you mess up is part of the process. Just brush it off, get back on track, and do it. No looking back!
